Oh Oakley,not again!

I own 2 brands of eye glasses,Oakley and Ray Ban. I have prescription glasses and sunglasses for each brand. The pic you see is a S$600 dollars Titanium brown Oakley prescription glasses. The logo on both sides fell off after 1.5 years. The rubber grip on the nose bridge seems to be slowly disintegrating. The colour on the frame of my  Oakley sun shades are also fading on certain areas. On the other hand, the one and only Ray Ban glasses that I owned and is broken now is because Faye snapped it when she was about one. The quality of the Ray ban glasses which are cheaper seem to be better by far. Well, the German immigrants to the US have a long history when it comes to eye glasses.
From now on, no more Oakley for me and I will continue to buy Ray Ban.BTW, people with 20/20 vision, you have no idea how lucky you are.

Actually due to legal reasons they don't reveal the number 1 reason. Nah mean?

How much TMnet charge again?

The Koreans have the best and I can testify to that because an episode of Family Guy took me less than  mins. BTW, the broadband I have in S'pore is free as the 2Mbps is complimentary.

Larian BOGEL

Looks like Maradona is either really confident the Argentinians will win or the opposite la. Well if they really win I think I'll join in as well, so lets book a ticket to Buenos Aires now. Suresh care to join me? In my opinion their strike force looks intimidating leaving out Martin Palermo (the guy who missed 3 penalties in a single game) of course.

Best ramen to date

I do not know if you have this chain in KL, but it was the best Ramen to date. S$15 no less, and the shop only sells 4 types of ramen but trust me it was better than the ones I ate in Japan. The "onsen tamago", a type of half boiled egg in the ramen was delicious. Anyway, if any of you are in S'pore , I will certainly bring you guys for a bowl.

The Siah's are the first to get an iPad, seen here being tested by TP
last Saturday.Although I think they will not be the last as it's truly
an awesome device. One more thing,I believe they will get sucked into
all things    now that they have an Apple product at home.

Hidup Sampai Mati

I am sure you have read this in Star. Well, I believe this is not the only school in Malaysia to have all these problems.Anyway, what caught my eye was the graffiti on the wall. That's an exact translation of "Live till I die" ....something common in hip hop lyrics, although in English it means more. I could be wrong but looks to me like there a loads of Indian kids in this school...well at least from the pictures.

How do I do it

Question: Hey Arul, where do you find the time to update the blog so regularly?
Answer: I use scribefire cause it takes me 30 secs to post links and the iPhone app Pixelpipe when on the road or not in front of a computer. Saying that,  no updates for the next week as I will be away in Manila. (remote area)

One more thing. Daphne and me went to watch Iron Man 2 a few days ago and I still maintain that Batman is my favourite superhero. My reason has always been that it's because it makes sense. The guy is rich and he fights crime using gadgets, no super power mambo jumbo.Saying that, I would have to say Iron Man is somewhat similar, a rich guy having the means to fight crime but possess something extra that I like. He is not one of those tortured souls who feel that the responsibility is a burden. He's very comfortable with the power that he has.......although, Downey could play down the smart come backs a little because at times it gets a little annoying. But still, Batman is the man la.

Note:Guys, will be back 22nd 23rd Weekend.Let's have tea. BTW, when are the iPad smugglers coming back?

Sometimes, you just have to bend over and take it

Such an unfortunate pic won't you say.

A married couple went to the hospital to have their baby delivered. Upon their arrival, the doctor said that he had invented a new machine that would transfer a portion of the mother’s labor pain to the biological father. He asked them if they were willing to try it out. They were both very much in favor of it. The doctor set the pain transfer dial to 10% for starters, explaining that even 10% was probably more pain than the father had ever experienced before.

But as the labor progressed, the husband felt fine and asked the doctor to go ahead and bump it up a notch. The doctor then adjusted the machine to 20% pain transfer. The husband was still feeling fine. The doctor checked the husband’s blood pressure and was amazed at how well he was doing. At this point they decided to try for 50%.

The husband continued to feel quite well. Since it was obviously helping out his wife considerably, the husband encouraged the doctor to transfer ALL the pain to him.

The wife delivered a healthy baby with no pain. She and her husband were ecstatic. When they got home, they received news that their milkman had died.
