I admit that Arsenal's young players can get a bit hot headed but tell me if Eboue was pushing Bridge aside or was he really striking him?Bridge went down holding a part of his head that was never touched. All said, I felt Arsenal's young guns outplayed the boys in blue and even though Drogba got the best of Senderos again...he still played better than Shevchenko. If this is the future of Arsenal than I am proud and am relieved. If you are an Arsenal fan then check out Arseblog.........pls mind the language there though.BTW, share with us if there's a similar blog for Man U or Liverpool.Don't bother telling me about Chelsea though.

Surgeons' 'lame' excuse

Add this one to those moronic medical moments and seriously it sure sounds like something you'd see in the Three Stooges or Mr Bean.Click header.

"Surgeons trying to correct the limp of a five-year-old boy in China have apologised after lengthening the wrong leg.

They say the mistake was down to the boy being anaesthetised on his back but then operated on while lying on his stomach."

SeeqPod Music

I prefer Pandora to Last-fm as I am not really into the whole socializing thing with other music listeners.I find Pandora to work seamlessly compared to Last-fm.When I stumble upon some great tracks I record them with Audacity.Today I came across an excellent site that allows me to build my own playlist and so far the choices are great. The best part, when you click on the url of the tracks origin it will jump to the parent directory.Great for finding gems, example, u2's One at the Live8 concert and other great rare remixes.Click header for the jump!

Year of the Pig

Not just any pig but the Golden Pig as my wife reminds me.She says that kids born in 2007 will always have things to eat...yup..her exact words. So, if the fortune tellers tell us that it's a great year to have kids then surely people are going to multiply like pigs too.Personally I don't give a hoot about Zodiac signs but since I was doing a doodle to pay my own tribute to the pig whose meat & lard has made every Wantan Mee and Char Kway Teow that much better...I included The Rat too and borrowed a line from the Smashing Pumpkins song "Bullets with Butterfly Wings".

Happy Chinese New Year y'all!!Check out World's greatest Porkers!

Simplistic Movie Links ?

For some reason I see a spike in the traffic to our little blog and found out it was due to the recent "outage" at Simplistic Movie Links blog .Well this other site may not impress you much but well it 's somewhere there in the same category I think.Try at the mean time y'all coming to this little space via the almighty google.

Freebies Time

Time for some freebies promo before I go on a long overdue holiday with the family.Vista includes a Snipping Tool which is a poor man's version of Snag-It, an excellent screen capture utility but for those of us who do not own Vista just yet,and are cheap like me, i would highly recommend Faststone Capture.Till recently I used MWsnap which is free too.
As for an utility to handle zip files, ALZip is the way to go.This little egghead handles anything you throw at it.

Amerika-Jin in a Japanese Prison

Now that I visit Japan from time to time, this tale of an Amerika-Jin in their prison makes me wonder if they will treat an Indo-Jin in the same way.I read this with great interest and can't wait for the next part.
I am sure you guys re-call me saying that the Japs are great and I stand by that because no other race in the world can surpass their courteous ways and work ethics but like in all prisons around the world....never drop the soap!
TP, AI can also mean Artificial Intelligence as sometimes I just sound smart buy actually am in screen saver mode. You guys need a google account or something cause I see only Chris apart from me on the contributors list.

Unpopular Remark: Vista & Office 2007 Rocks

I know you guys are probably tired of me telling you how great Vista is and I know that these days, standing by your Windows OS can mean that you are in danger of being a very uncool cat.Anyway, let me take the next plunge into being an even uncool person by saying that Office 2007 the words of my 19 month old ...NICE.I am a OpenOffice person but I have to admit that M$ has done a great job with the Office 2007 and it's great and very easy to handle.I use a lot of excel and am blown away by the amount of bells and whistles the new one has.
Why, I even love the WindowsMail in Vista compared to Thunderbird. If there's one product that still have not swayed me is IE...yup even with IE7 they can never make me leave my beloved Firefox browser.
The truth guys, with Vista's ability to do harddrive partitions on the fly, ReadyBoost that takes advantage of removable flash drives to boost system performance by expanding the memory and that wonderful WindowsAero interface...........I no longer envy Mac users and trust me, once you run would never want to go back to XP again.
